Become who you are.
It is on this principle that Biagini builds its aesthetic, an authentic, innovative approach to accessories, untethered from any convention. Since 1968, the Modena-based company’s uncompromising craftsmanship has reinvented premium leathers such as crocodile, python, ostrich, and eel, breaking the rules, exploring uncharted territories of style, finding in culture, irony, and its roots the key to creating a unique product, crafted entirely by hand.
For the Insulo collection, Biagini celebrates the values of nearby Romagna, a land of courageous, passionate, and daring men and women ready to do anything to make a dream come true. And it does so by paying homage to the visionary project of Giorgio Rosa, the Bolognese engineer who, in the same year Biagini was born, proclaimed the birth of the Esperanta Respubliko de la Insulo de la Rozoj, a utopian state in international waters off the coast of Rimini, better known as Rose Island, the result of the construction of a 400-meter artificial platform, later dismantled by the Italian authorities in the spring of 1969.
Insulo Biagini thus becomes a mental space where one can feel free and authentic, a non-place where fashion rediscovers its often-forgotten function of unity, encounter, and the centrality of people, not status.
This collection once again transcends trends and translates into artifacts the deep-rooted truth of its artisans: people who, day after day, pursue their dreams through manual labor.
